Quality Alzheimer’s Care from the Comfort of Home
Mom or dad might be forgetful, but that doesn’t mean they should have to sacrifice their home, independence or quality of life. At Milwaukee Home Care Assistance, it is our mission to change the way the world ages, and one of the ways we’re doing so is by offering high-quality home care to seniors living with Alzheimer’s. With the right type of support from our highly trained and compassionate Alzheimer’s caregivers, your loved one can continue doing the things they love for as long as possible.
Not Your Ordinary Alzheimer’s Caregiver
All of our Alzheimer’s caregivers are undoubtedly able to care for your loved one’s physical needs as they progress through each stage of the disease. In the early stages, our caregivers can help with meal preparation and light housekeeping and as the disease progresses, they can offer compassionate assistance with bathing, dressing, medication reminders and mobility. However, at Home Care Assistance of Milwaukee, we have a balanced approach to care which also includes socialization and cognitive stimulation, two things which are highlighted in our Cognitive Therapeutics Method™.
The Cognitive Therapeutics Method™ (CTM) is a wellness program that utilizes engaging and stimulating activities to promote cognitive vitality for individuals of all functioning levels. All of our caregivers receive advanced training in how to carry out CTM and provide one-to-one attention and companionship, helping to enhance brain health while providing clients with a sense of achievement and purpose. CTM helps promote an enhanced quality of life at home for seniors with Alzheimer’s and is available to our clients at no additional cost.
